Absolutely phenomenal outdoor movie projector!
Absolutely phenomenal outdoor projector! Even with ambient light, the brightness from the projected image is amazing. Is it HD or 3D? Well no but for under $400, this projector makes outdoor movie screening cheap and accessible to just about any group or family. I purchased for a local public campground and weekly movie night is now possible with just a DVD player and a powered speaker. Also, it's incredibly small and lightweight which makes transporting super easy. Focus/zoom/keystone adjustments are as simple as you can get and it will find the video input with the search feature. I highly recommend this projector!

I love this projector!
We use this projector almost everyday for our home theater. We project it directly on our white wall at about 90 inches. We love it. The only drawback is when the audio is a little loud the unit kind of adds a vibrating distortion. Other than that, I would highly recommend buying this projector if you have the right space for it, the picture quality is great, not 1080p, but at 90in it is very high quality. The setup couldn't really be easier and the projector can adapt to almost any angled space. Watching sports with the projector is amazing. It is hard to watch anything under 50 inches now....

you can't go wrong with this!
Set up is super easy!! Sound quality is pretty good but if you get too many ppl or outside noise you may need a sound bar. Quality of picture is pretty awesome, so much that you could easily use a sheet wall or even side of house for a background starting out! Fan does not appear to be noisy as some have suggested! Love being able to adjust it to any position - your space could be so awkward but they've made it so simple with the different adjustment options! They say you get what you pay for but I honestly have to say we've gotten MORE with this product!!! Best investment I've made in a long time!!Phone pic wasn't best quality cause it was just turning dusk...

Stop looking - you found the 1
Wow! I read so many reviews and went back and forth on what I wanted. I was hoping to spend less but so glad I didn't. We love family movie night. We have a large third floor kid area and we project on the slopes ceiling. We all get in our camp cots and watch the movie. We will buy a screen next. But it's amazing how well it works on a ceiling. Love it. I plan to have movies nights under the stars too, will have to come back to review how it does in that scenario.

Popcorn Machine Not Included
I'm not a technophile who can regale you with details about this product. What I can say is that it worked quickly and easily out of the box and performs beautifully. I now find my 32" HDTV kind of quaint and prefer to watch things "on the wall" now. I have mine connected via a single HDMI cable to my blu-ray player which is also connected to my ancient home theater system. The marriage of the picture and sound gives me such a great imitation of the theater experience that I find myself watching movies I haven't watched in years because everything seems fresh again. Movies that have been beautifully remastered look spectacular projected as large as life. I have noticed on occasion that there is a slight lag with the audio which I'm chalking up to a digital image being paired with analog sound. The sound from the projector speaker itself is spot on in sync however, there is no stereo separation and it's often not loud enough to satisfy.Originally, I had entertained the idea of using the projector for a Halloween project and may eventually, but one issue which came into play was the display of black borders which read as a gray and would need to be masked. Just something to know if you were considering purchasing for that application. One of the only frustrations that I've experienced with it is the automatic settings for the aspect ratio. Obviously, this is an issue with MANY TVs and DVDs themselves and may not bother most people but the result is that you find yourself looking at slightly squished or elongated images. Often they are only slightly off but enough to annoy you if you are visually oriented.Originally, I had assumed that the tripod mounting screw would allow me to mount it onto a camera tripod occasionally. The screw, however, is a different size...something that surprised the photo guys at B&H Photo but not the B&H media guys who explained it to me, then told me that they USED to have something to accommodate for that but they don't anymore. Sounds like a standard video projector mounting kit or a home made rig may be the only ways to proceed with that. If there is an quick, easy and cheap answer, I haven't found it.The unit is compact and portable enough to use almost anywhere and the Keystone feature which corrects the angle automatically works rather well if you don't jostle the projector too much. I find that it performs best in very dark situations. I have read reviews that it works OK in light rooms but that has not been my experience. The image is significantly faded in the afternoon when, even with the lights off and the shades closed, the sun bleaches the image too much to be pleasing. For the price, I think it's an excellent buy and one that has been a real nostalgia trip seeing movies projected again as they were when I first saw them. Unless you're exceptionally discriminating, I think you're gonna love this.

Bright Display and works well.
Very Satisfied. Bright, Bright display. It has a screen door effect but not too bad. I bought two of these for my Church youth building. We play video games on them along with youtube videos, worship songs, and presentation software on my laptop. I have them set up with 120" screens.

Works great even outdoors
Works great even outdoors. We own an old barn with one end 45' wide by 30' tall. Hooked up this projector to my laptop and instantly had a poor-mans drive-in. The images are clear at 30' away.
