Ha. That’s funny. I had to watch a YouTube video. But basically you hold each end at 4 and 8 o’clock. With the 4 o’clock hand twist back toward your body. And with the 8 o’clock had twist forward away from your body. That will make a figure 8 of the net. From there continue to twist in that direction and the circles will get smaller. Eventually allowing you to flip it onto itself. Once you get started you’ll figure it out pretty quick and wonder how it ever puzzled you to begin with. Or…. You can watch a video like I did.

Q: Can I land 30 lb fish on this?

Its made from light weight material. Will it work? I believe it will. But I don’t believe it will continue to hold up with that kind of use. But for the price you can’t beat it.

Q: Will this land big fish from a pier?

I have landed big fish in this net. Even a few pointy finned sheepshead and it worked fine. The material is not super strong but if you’re not using it for crabbing and just to pull fish up from a pier it will work. However DO NOT use the little rope they provide to do so. You will 100% need to tie your own rope to this net. The one provided is like thick dental floss, and that is a very accurate description. I tied a loop on the end of some better rope and use a clip to attach it to the basket so it’s easy to remove and put back in the silky gray bag with the pink string on the side.
