Easy
I like these protects…..they’re better then the felt stick-in’s. Just hammer them in and they work.

Chair slide smoothly and no longer appear to scratch the hardwood
The felt is harder than I expected, but still soft enough to not scratch the hardwood. My kids are young and drag our chairs all over, so not scratching the floors anymore was the most important feature I cared about.I would like two sizes:1. Actual width2. Felt width. The actual width is wider than the felt width. I didn't know until they arrived if 3/4" was the felt or the plastic that is slightly wider than the felt.Install was one time only, so I wasn't concerned too much, however;1. Hold the item with small plyers, using a very gently grip for two reasons: - So you don't hit your finger - The parts are plastic and can break with a tight plier grip.2. Using a small, finish hammer without teeth (the part you pound with should be smooth), pound directly on the felt. - You cannot miss the center or you could pound the item in on a bad angle - Again, the parts are plastic and can break easily with hit to the edge that misses the hammer.Overall, I am fairly pleased and would buy them again.

Firm pads that slide well and do not mark
Well made that are easy to use but tough to install on vintage hardwood chair legs. They are similar to what had been in place with a metal circle that gets pushed/hammered into place. Excellent quality and really like so far.

They work!
We have new wood floors and wanted to protect the floors from scratches. We first bought the self adhesive precut felt protectors, along with the self adhesive “cut to fit” floor protectors, but they were a mess. They simply failed to stay adhered to the wood legs of most furniture pieces. We decided to try a mixed size package of these, and we are very pleased! With a hammer, you tap one to the bottom of each furniture leg. (If there is an existing plastic or metal caps on furniture leg, you have to remove them before you can attach this product.)We currently have these on all den chairs, side tables, kitchen and dining room tables and chairs, china cabinets, light weight sofas, and our wooden Secretary.....so far we are having complete success. They are protecting our new wooden floors. Hooray!

RECOMMEND 👍
So glad I purchased these. Got tired of putting on the felt pads with the adhesive, in a couple of days they would start coming off, have to reapply, couple days, same thing!! Got these, easy to put on my chair legs, all you need is a hammer. I already had some starter holes. They have been on for several weeks now. I am so glad, have had no problems. I say, order and install. Think you will be happy 😊

Best type of pads for protecting your floors
I've used these type of flood protectors before so when we bought new chairs for our island, I bought these protectors. Regular floor pads without the metal cylinders will migrate over time and eventually come off and end up smearing old adhesive all over the floor. These protectors stay put. Installation is a little tricky to do without hitting your fingers with the hammer. I used the edge of a rubber mallet to get them started into the wood and then once they hold a little bit without your fingers, smack them full on with the mallet. Note: The bottom of your chair legs need to be wood where the metal cylinders can be pounded in for about 1/3 of an inch into the wood.

Felt pads are not thick enough
These nail in felt pads are easy to use. The only reason I have given them 4 stars instead of 5 is that the felt pads are not very thick so therefore will not last long.
