I love it so much I bought a back-up
This thing works great and I can't believe I spent most of my adult life shaving.PRO TIPS for the one-star reviewers:1) You HAVE to let your hair grow out enough for it pull it out.2) If it is not pulling from the root, move it up or down a setting - you must adjust to fit your hair length/softness or courseness.3) Once your hair is long enough - it IS going to hurt. And it will hurt bad. Sorry, that is just how it is. My first few times I took ice and would ice it as I was using the epilator. I am just a determined person like that, I knew once I did it a few times it would be easy-breezy, and I was right.4) You have to exfoliate your skin before using! I use a glove and just do a quick exfoliation when I am in the shower on the day I am going to use epilator. It helps those suckers come right on out of the pores. A nice lotion afterward and my skin feels like a baby - not kidding.5) I have been using mine for about 5 years and I feel nothing when I am using this thing. It actually feels good even. My hairs grow back baby-fine. So fine, in fact, they are blonde and you can't even see them. Under my arms they really don't even grow back now.6) One of the best things is you don't have to pay $$$$ for someone else to remove the hair for you. No letting your hoo-ha hang out and be embarrassed to have it done. You don't have to shell out money and you can do it yourself for free. Razors are crazy expensive! I have saved literally hundreds of dollars doing this myself. As the title of my review states, I have a couple extra actually. I do not want to be without one if/when the one I have poops out on me. Good luck and hang in there - you'll love it.

Works so well!
Works amazingly well! I started my shaving regularly, then the very next day I used the epilator on my legs and used it again every single day for 7 days straight. By the seventh day it wasn’t nearly as painful. The second week I used it every other day, the third week I used it twice and now I only have to use it once a week and my legs are still smooth and it literally doesn’t hurt at all anymore! Not going to lie, it was painful especially on the back of the legs the first week but now it truly doesn’t hurt and works so well!

Advice & Review Philip’s Epilator
Okay I’m breaking this review into two parts, for those looking for advice read part one, for those looking for a product review read part two!Part One: It HURTS. I read the reviews and thought people were being dramatic, they are not… but they also aren’t lying when they say it gets better. If you are planning on using this every where my biggest piece of advice is start with just the armpits, they hurt the worst so everywhere else feels like a breeze after. Take a HOT bath or shower before and exfoliate really well. It’s best to use the first few times at night. If you are of age grab a glass of wine or two and make sure you READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Go slowly and take your time. I find it’s easier to do in chunks, rather than strips like you would shaving. One thing I wish I had done looking back is taking it one area at a time; I full sent and did pretty much my whole body and was SO uncomfortable. While you are here also grab some witch hazel for after, you will need it. I like T.N. Dickinson’s the most. ALSO if you are prone to hives/have eczema or other related issues BE CAREFUL, the first time I had a solid histamine reaction, if you have red bumps and swelling take a benadryl and give your body a break.Part Two: I am an epilator baby so this is the only product I have owned, but it gets the job done. I haven’t had any major issues with it grabbing skin and it’s relatively comfortable to use. It is corded, but the cord is long and flexible. It has one head and cleaning tools included. It isn’t the most ergonomic product out of what i have looked at, so if you have accessibility issues it might not be the easiest to use. My biggest complaint is that it is LOUD. I mean it makes my hair dryer seem quiet kind of loud, but other than that, solid product, arrived intact and haven’t had any issues more than a month later!

great for thick hair!
this is the best hair removal device I decided to order. I've wanted to stop shaving and have the roll on wax but keeping up with it can be costly. yes, it hurt. BUT! I think for the long term aspect it's perfect. the only mess you'll have to clean up is your own hair instead of wax strips. I have really thick hair everywhere and shaving only lasts me a day or two. Used it on my arms and armpits to start and am very pleased. the hair on my pits is super thick and I haven't waxed them in forever and I will say, it was the worst thing I've felt but it is to be expected. I didn't use the guard either for the sensitive parts so I kind of screwed myself that way. my skin is smooth and I don't have to worry about it for another week or two! I haven't gotten to use it on my legs but I'm sure it will still hurt lol. after you continue to use it you get used to it. for the money and thinking about how long it'll last and how much you end up using it, it is worth the money. BUYYYYY(if your pain tolerance is high)

Works great!
This epilator works great. It took me several tries because it does sting. But if you hold your skin taunt with your other hand, it’s not as bad. It’s really hard to get my upper lip done and as you can see from the picture, there is a few scraggly hairs around my lip. But my sideburns went from where you see my hair down to the bottom of my chin and it always looked horrible, and I hate shaving constantly. This will be a nice alternative. I’m not sure how long it takes before the redness goes away. I wouldn’t think it would be very long as it’s already starting to fade. I still have to figure out how to clean the epilator but the instructions show it’s pretty easy. I just wanted to let everyone know about this while I had time to get it done.
