Basic Electric Kettle that does the Job Very Well
My girlfriend had one that she has had for several years and used daily. The nylon lever finally broke rendering the pot inoperative. It worked so well for so long, we decided to replace it with the same pot. Boils water in a minute or two, shuts off automatically, very simple well designed stainless steel pot. Highly recommend for the price...just go easy pressing down that nylon knob to activate...

Happy I could find an stainless steel electric kettle for under $100
My boyfriend has had this kettle for over 5 years and apart from dripping a little if you pour the water out too fast, I liked it. I never thought about the fact that my (old) kettle had plastic parts that touched the boiling water until recently. So, I did some research on whether stainless or glass would be best for me and decided to get the same kettle as my bf. I was surprised by the negative reviews about water getting into a small hole in the handle side of the interior of the kettle and somehow ruining it. His kettle has worked flawlessly for years. So, unless you’re overfilling the kettle well past the maximum fill line, I don’t see how water would get in that hole. I bought it and so far am very happy to have a kettle that has a plastic free interior; perfect size to make enough water for a cup of tea and a French press; heats water quickly; and a decent price point. Great purchase!

PERFECT and no plastic inside
Searched for a kettle that had absolutely no plastic in the interior and this kettle has none. It works well, boils quite quickly and is attractive too! I bought another after using it for a few days as I wanted a backup for travel. Over a year old and still works perfectly. Very much recommended.

Secura Electric Kettle
I finally found the perfect water kettle after my old Hamilton Beach kettle gave out. I tried and returned 3 other kettles that were very lightweight and had issues with the lids sticking. This Secura Electric Kettle is very solid and sturdy - has a good weight to it and sits very solidly in the base. The inside is all stainless steel and although some reviews mention the spout leaking I have not experienced that. The lid opens and closes easily. It isn’t too loud for me and I like the soft blue light for the on/off lever.

Stainless steel kettle that works well and looks good
The Secura stainless steel kettle replaces a Braun plastic kettle because I didn't want to use hot water that comes in contact with plastic anymore. The Secura kettle works well and looks good. Quit a bit of steam comes out during the last few seconds of boiling and a little (very little) water leaks through the lid. The outside of the kettle does not get hot so no danger of getting burnt. The handle feels somewhat flimsy. Worth the money I paid for it.

A kettle without plastic
No plastic parts that is close to water. Very functional, quick, and mom-approved-healthy.

Wont Last a Year with Heavy Use - Poor Design Corrodes Wiring
I use my kettle quite a bit, on a daily basis (1-2 French Presses of coffee in the AM & 2-3+ cups of tea in the afternoon). This is the 3rd kettle that has died, each lasting less than a year. 3 because I bought the cheap warranty after the first one died because I had hoped I just had a dud, but $4 for the warranty was cheap insurance rather than another $30 for a new kettle. Wrong, it wasn't a dud, it's a design flaw that allows the excess steam & moisture into the vent/overflow inside the kettle that runs down the inside of the handle, straight to where the electrical components are! When the corrosion of the components start, the kettle will start boiling the water but shuts off before it reaches boiling. If you try to restart the kettle right away, nothing happens. You have to wait a little bit then try again. A real blast when you are trying to make coffee & get out the door in the morning.

Excellent electric kettle
Don’t let the no frills design fool you, this is the kettle you want. No plastic parts touching the water, something so basic that so many other products fail at. It’s quick, easy to use, and reliable over time.
