The 2.5" hose on my sliding compound saw was over 30 years old. It had started to crack and split open.I measured a need of ten feet, but since the 20' length was only a little more, that's what I bought. Good thing -- turns out it needed about 15' to do it right. You might want to buy more than you think is needed.There are dozens of Amazon suppliers for 2.5" flex hose and you can't tell from the descriptions or reviews which is best. So, I bought this name brand -- a good decision as it is very flexible and .well made.

Does not collapse when using my VERY powerful dust collection system.

I use these for my grow tents for my ac units and it’s been working tremendously better than using ducts, only gets warm, doesn’t get hot it’s amazing super durable as well might be buying another in my future for another tent AC unit!

used for dust collection in my shop, previously have been using the dryer flexible vent hose but these got damaged way too easily when bumped would split hose and cause leaks. This has a hard sprung wire coil thru the entire length and is hard to damage, have already bumped the hose and it did not mark it at all, the stretch ability of the material is very good, when installed I twisted the end of the wire to touch the rest of the pipework to continue a ground connection thru the system to reduce static.
