I do not wear them in the shower. However, they are reusable.

Q: Do these work for blister prevention while running or walking?

They work. In my job, I walk anywhere from 8000-12000 steps a day, I developed a blister on one of my toes. I lanced the blister and then put a band-aid on that toe, then a toe cushion. When the blister was healed, I used the toe cushion every day, and never got a blister again. I highly recommend these cushions.
