Spitalfields Retro DAB/DAB+ Digital FM Portable Radio/Alarm Clock/Leather Effect Finish/Mains Powered/Rechargable Battery/Subwoofer/Premium Stereo Sound (White)

I bought this as a Bedside radio and alarm clock plus Bluetooth speaker. I have 3 other Azatom products and tried other radios at a similar price range only to be disappointed by them. THIS however, even though its not the price of a Roberts, is great value for money! It is really easy to use and intuitive. I love the preset buttons, dual alarm and the leather effect finish, very Classy indeed and it exudes Quality!!! It has a good sized clear display that is great for seeing the time next to the bed. I like the fact that when the alarm goes off it gradually gets louder so that you are not given a shock.Sound quality is far better than the other units in a similar price range soundwise, it is a very open and airy and just the right amount of Bass considering the size of the unit. It has a built-in equaliser where you can adjust the sound to your taste anyway my favourite is the movie mode which has the right balance of treble and bass frequencies I like it so much I have bought a second radio from the same company it is smaller for travelling and I will also be reviewing this. I also love the fact that this company gives a 3 year warranty and is english based ( Though of course it's built-in China). I recommend this company if you wish to have well built well thought out good sounding audio units for an unbelievably good value price!

I like everything about this radio. It's substantial weight wise,has clear controls with easy set up pamphlet. The rechargeable batteries are surprisingly long lasting. Good sound options and connectivity. Don't understand people's complaints- they've either been unlucky or expect too much from a £45 radio. Terrific buy

The design and look of this radio suggests a premium price but the truth is a very good value for money.The sound is crisp and clear , the DAB fantastic as are the various settings and user friendly

A good radio all things considered. Well drab, sorry DAB is to compressed to ever sound that good. But quite a sensitive device so gets loads of stations with little or no dropouts. Probably best reception on a dab I have ever known. Has all the facilities you could ever want. Not necessarily the best sound, but then a smalish speaker and with a compressed network it is never going to shine. Don't be fooled though when it says passive subwoofer. It doesn't do much for bass. Hey, but I'm being super critical, it is a good radio.

Great sound attractive looking as well my only thing I would say is the white is not white it is cream or at best an off white a bit lighter than the photo on the advert looks but definitely not white.Unit has some nice features overall I am happy with it
