My kids are always losing the lids to their water bottles. This one stays attached. I also like the wide mouth, makes it easy to wash in the dishwasher.

I received the Swig Savvy Stainless Steel Thermos Water bottle a few days ago and I put it to use today as a part of my lunch pack. I made tea with hot boiling water at about 11 AM directly in the thermos bottle using a tea ball and I closed the cap. I put the thermos bottle into an insulated cover I had for a Nalgene polycarbonate water bottle. I took off at about 12:30 PM on my motorcycle to work. My lunch pack and the thermos bottle was mounted on my rear seat in the wind. At work, the customer had cancelled the appointment I had today, so I ate my lunch there at 2:30 PM or so. I poured the tea out of the thermos bottle into a silicone rubber collapsible cup [An important point about thermos bottles: Never drink directly out of a thermos bottle unless you know the temperature of the liquid inside for sure. You can be burned by boiling hot liquid, or your mouth can be frozen by the below-freezing liquid. In the old days, the caps of every thermos bottle were also cups you can drink out of, but new ones do not have this feature. Get a collapsible cup. Amazon has many kinds of them for a few dollars. Also, make sure to wash the thermos bottle before using it. It can have machining oils and other materials stuck to its inner surface. The one I received was looking very clean. I washed it anyway.] The tea was still boiling hot, I had to cool it in the collapsible cup before drinking it. I packed up and started for home on my motorcycle at about 3:30 PM and I came home at about 5 PM. I poured the rest of the tea into a cup from the thermos bottle, and tasted it. It was just cool enough to drink it. In summary, the thermos bottle works very well, especially in an insulating soft bottle cover which also prevents any damage to its nice surface finish.

It is a widemouth container with a screw off lid. Would be good for taking a cold drink to a picnic and pouring the liquid into a cup. The plastic lid is attached to the bottle with a stiff plastic piece. To pour or drink, that has to be held carefully away from the opening or it interferes. The opening is threaded stainless steel, where the lid screws on, not really easy or pleasant to drink from. Also a bit time consuming, since one has to unscrew the lid, tuck it under your fingers so it doesn't get in the way, and then carefully maneuver your mouth to the liquid.I feel I have to keep it, as it is my own fault for ordering the wrong thing. But I can't figure out what to do with it. Too small to use as a thermos. Too heavy to walk with. Too inconvenient for drinking to use as a water bottle.

I bought this because I needed something to keep at my desk at work to remind me to keep hydrated. It works just fine for me so far, but I will likely not be using it in extreme conditions (out all day when it is hot weather, etc.). The only thing that would improve it for my usage is to have a easier-access drinking spout, but the company does have them for separate purchase. The top it comes with would be unwieldy for a child to use—I found this bottle when I was doing a search for my kid to take to camp and decided to get him a different model that came with an easier-to-use top.

I love the wide mouth thats big enough to accommodate regular sized ice cubes, and a scrub brush for cleaning. The simplicity of the top makes it easy to clean and bacteria doesn't build up, like with complicated drink tops.

This water bottle is not sturdy! It fell apart after 6 weeks of use. The lid separated into three pieces and was not longer usable. What a waste of money--and more junk for the landfill!

As advertised: it kept ice water cold through 85 F degree weather, overnight and into the next day. It is difficult for me to open the cap, though, and the mouth of the bottle is a little bit too wide for me to take a fast drink from it. Liquid spills out onto my face unless I drink slowly and carefully. I think 1/4 to 1/2 inch narrower would still allow easy filling with ice cubes and make it easier to drink without giving the process 100% of my attention. I have been using this for about 2 weeks now.

The product I received was not like the picture or description.Its supposed to have a fully stainless steel lid to prevent plastic coming into contact with any liquids. Its even pictured with a stainless steel lid and a plastic thread. The one I received is completely plastic.The plastic lid retained often gets covered in whatever you drinking. In my case it was a big brand meal replacement powder.Back you goUpdate 25/01/19.I have come to return the bottles and I cannot even get one of them open to return it. The plastic insert in the lid has detached from the stainless steel part marking it impossible to get the lid off. Junk.

I Initially purchased one for our Tandem, But when it arrived and I used it I immediately bought a second! On a hot tour of France this summer our drinks were warm in the heat, using our normal water bottles.These bottles feel like qualityGreat robust product - Look good and should give years of use.

Light, smart and fun to carry - this is a cool looking bottle (everyone admores it and asks where its from) that has also kept my water cold even after having left the bottle in my car on very sunny day. I prefer the wide mouth to the slim Chilly product so i can also put bits of friuit or ice in and then use one of the variety mouthpieces Swig Savvy tops! I hope you enjoy it as much as i do!

Stays warm... Does fall off the side pocket of school bag, so placing it inside the bag these days, not leaky.

Great water bottle, very vibrant colour, and it doesn’t have that horrible plastic smell you get with other bottles.
