A good, strong and durable cutting mat. I got the A1 size so it was important that it stored vertically without too much bending. It does this fine and I'm confident it will last many years. I've gone through several cutting mats in the past and this is as good as the best fo them.

The quality is great but can’t help think this is on the expensive side for what it is. Seems heavy duty although we’ve not used it properly yet and we will never be doing any hard cutting on it so we will probably never get to test out the ‘self-healing’ aspect. Overall a great product and nice looking!

Having researched the reviews of this and other similar products before settling on this cutting mat, I was willing to overlook the more critical ones found here, as it was feature rich at a good price.I can confirm that with mine there was no smell to air out from the point of receipt, that the weight of the matt was in proportion to its size and the Imperial and Metric markings were clearly displayed.All was well I thought, until its maiden outing, where the surface coating of the mat split and did not heal or even resist with use of a hand driven rotary cutter. Given the trail of the destruction I noticed that the mat did not have any issue with the straight cuts I made, only when turning the blade. My needs being of a sartorial nature, there are many instances where I need to cut around a curved area.Upgrading from my smaller A3 sized mat I never found this to be an issue, so I can only assume that this mat is not made to such a high standard.Conversing with the seller they insisted the obvious; that I had "exceeded its use limit", well of course, but what was that "use limit" ?With there no clear written instructions of exactly how much pressure one may apply, I would recommend that anybody falling into the same category as myself insist on a full (not partial) refund, as the product's main feature is lacking.Otherwise, the mat is as described.

Love the colour (pink & purple) feels good and strong lays nice and flat only had it a couple of days loving it already great buy.

Does what it says on the tin

I now have two of these mats, an A1 and an A2; I don’t have a dedicated work room so have to use my dining room table and find I can work with confidence using these 2 mats together to protect it. Aside from the protection the measurements are excellent and saves me needing to take certain tools out; therefore saving my limited space. I cannot recommend enough.

Excellent quality mat. The graphics are very well defined, and the mat feels a quality product. Would certainly recommend this.. Worth paying the extra few quid.

Used on top of bench hook to cut paper. Works well.
