Dermarest Psoriasis Medicated Skin Treatment-4, oz.

I have used this problem years ago and it works great. I do not know what my scalp ailment is but when I used this in combination with the shampoo the dead skin on my scalp comes off in layers. My scalp has always been itchy and feels tight. I believe this is caused by the buildup I have. I usually put this on and let it sit for a day. Then use that shampoo and then comb put the flakes. I also us anti bacterial shampoo. I know this is gross but it works.

Works great to remove the dead skin and moisturize the applied area. However, this does not 'cure' psoriasis. After you run out, at least in my case, the inflammation returns. A good price if you can get it $5 and below per package. I wouldn't waste my money on a higher price like you may find in a local pharmacy.

This is the only brand that works. They only used to sell the lotion in town (Las Vegas) and for some reason I am unable to buy it here anymore. The other brands don't work and one says that it causes cancer! This hell works great.

My daughter swears this is the ONLY Psoriasis treatment available without a prescription that helps and she has tried them all over the years. She alternates this and the T-Gel as tolerance is built up over time.

Just the thing for de-scaling my elbows. Then I use rosehip oil and lavender oil to maintain. (Not the best thing for my scalp however.)

This was purchased for my son's seborrhea dermatitis on his scalp. It seems to be worth the purchase as it does what it is supposed to do. I bought this to give his scalp a rest from using the prescription Hydrocortisone gel that he has used for a number of years because I thought he had built up a resistant to it. Both gels work similarly, except the Dermarest Psoriasis Medicated Skin Treatment is not as greasy as the Hydrocortisone gel prescription. What I've discovered recently is that maybe my son's diet is the culprit as to why his skin disorder was escalating. His favorite pasta consumption seems to be the issue, as well as a couple of other things.Until I figure out the best possible diet situation for him, I will continue to use both gels, possibly alternating their uses.

I don't have psoriasis but this is a great product for other things. I put this on a blemish and it is gone overnight. Want a mini chemical peel? This will do it.

It helps with the itching.
