Fresh Star Fruit (Carambola) 3 Lbs

I've never tried or bought starfruit before, but someone told my husband that it could lower your blood glucose level(diabetes) So, just heads up if that's the reason why you're buying also, eat with caution. Hubby always keeps his sugar level at a good number. The day we got it we both tried it and it had a good taste(He has diabetes, I don't). Even though they told me to only have him eat half, because it was so good, he ate the whole thing which is not too big about the size of a medium size mango. About 10 minutes later his hands started shaking and he started sweating and not feeling well at all. Took his sugar level and it had dropped really low. Long story short 🤔 if you have diabetes and dont need to lower your sugar level DON'T EAT IT! Or at least eat with caution. P.s. 3 lbs was 9 starfruits. Very fresh btw.😁

received this shipment on 9/18.arrived mildewed with fuzz growing on it and the smell was like fermenting fruit. It was not edible at all.. was so excited to receive because my granddaughter read all the information on that particular fruit. When we opened the box it was disgusting. the packaging was horrible.

Unfortunately, though they arrived quickly, most were half rotted and distasteful. I would recommend another seller/source.

i had never had a fresh one before. Note to others. If you have a kidney issue you may want to avoid these fruit. But I found them quite delicious. One or two a little overripe but rest perfect.

I was impressed with the packing, the quality of the fruit and the amount of fruit.

diabetics, liver or kidney problems do not eat this fruit!!!

Spoiled fruit in Styrofoam not edible and arrived after it said it was delivered to a different state days ago.
