Small-Footprint Workstation
Designed well and sturdy but would be better if it was at least 20 pounds heavier. The resinite inlay on top can be removed to reveal a surface that has recesses in which you can place objects of weight to make it a more stabile platform for computer equipment. Should last decades. We have several at work and they hold up to heavy use well. The assembly instructions could have been better. Fortunately, I assembled models as a kid so I was able to figure it out. My desk was missing a part for organizing the cabling. It's a plastic tube, not a deal breaker. You could pick up a piece of PVC pipe from the hardware store that would be better. I don't even need it. At least all the screws and bolts were there. The company that shipped this desk did so in like 7 days, so fast that Amazon didn't know it had been shipped until a week later. That explained their high approval rating. The table top is large enough for a good-sized monitor, keyboard, and mouse. However, not a printer. You could buy a small cart to put the printer on.

good desk but not the original
this was an attempt to finish a desk started 20 years ago. the base unit (corner desk is the 1st piece that I have) was made by MicroComputer Accessories back in the 90's. something happened and they were sold to Rubbermaid. and again something happened and they were sold to Iceberg. all this moving around has not made it easy to complete my desk. lo-and behold I find the Aspire model here. Yea! I buy it, same color (sort of) same desk (sort of) and with a price that choke a horse, shipping was $80 where where they sending it from? the moon? via space shuttle? company that sold unit is clearly profiting off of shipping and handling. but I had to have it to complete my desk. big changes have been made from original design. legs are in the way, desk too short (by 2") but other than that, great desk after some modifying and extra cost
