The Forest Master Splitting Base Blade (USBB) can be used with manual drop weight log splitters such as the SMART Log Splitter to increase the splitting efficiency by splitting logs with two opposing blades. Simply screw the Base Blade onto the wood base of the log splitter, in line with the log splitter blade, place your log on the base blade and engage the splitter blade in the log with a tap of the weight. The USBB can also be used independently to safely split kindling without the need for an axe. Place the kindling on the blade and tap with a mallet. Brilliant
Fantastic, chops kindling so fast, easy to install, just 4 screws . Well recommended. Have looked at other more expensive alternatives, but i wouldn't bother, it does the same job at half the price brilliant

Ok, could be sharper.
Bought as a present for my husband. It’s ok, the axe head it quite broad and not very sharp, not so great for kindling. Not quite as effective as he was expecting a little disappointing.
