Fresh Purple Passion Fruit (5lb)

This is the second time I have ordered passion fruit from this supplier. Both times I was thrilled with the quality of the fruit. Although, when I received the shipment, the passion fruit were slightly underripe, this was not concerning to me so much....I had ordered them well in advanced for when I needed them, giving them a little longer to continue ripening. The passion fruit themselves were a different strain that what I am used to and are a much larger fruit than I expected, but they were mostly full of pulp, and delicious. I will continue to reorder as long as the company continues to provide quality fruit. I received the fruit well before the estimated date of delivery. A great experience with the company and product overall. Thank you.

The amount of fruit was awesome for the price but disappointing to see that they were 99% yellow and green(photos). Some had skin that was weird and kinda crumbly(photos). They were all very sour and had to have sugar added to make them palatable. I contacted the seller and they offered to replace some of the order which is great customer service. I'll update this review in the future if I get the replacement.EDIT: Seller acted like they'd make things right but never followed through. Shameful.

Normally, I really enjoy fresh passion fruit and I have ordered it a number of times from New Zealand. Usually there is a mixture of dried and fresher fruits, the dried ones have been fine in the past. However, this box had mainly dried fruit, which is not the problem, but about a quarter to one third of them were molded. No I did not send them back it seemed like to much trouble. However, the shippers should be aware that ice packs need to be put into the box. The day they were delivered the temperature outside was 122. The taste was a bit off on the ones that were not moldy, but this product is so expensive it should arrive in pristine condition.

These are much bigger then the normal smaller purple size ones. Delicious and juicy. A few came perfect and ready to eat right out the box which had lots of juice and the rest will be perfect in a few days or so and I expect them to be just as good. Delivery was a bit delayed and hard to track at times but it did arrive and was well worth the money. Will buy again, just will be more patient with Shipping.

This was the worst batch I've ever ordered online. Most looked okay except for a few that had rotten holes all the way through them. They were incredibly bitter and we gave up trying to eat them anyway they were so bitter. Some looked okay on outside but we're completely void of fruit pulp on inside and only had white fibrous growth on the inside without any liquid. They barely had a purple tint to them, more of a pinkish green. I hit the button to contact the seller but it went to Polar bear store a different seller. I wouldn't recommend these to any human being.

I've ordered from here before and always been happy. This time the fruit took a long time to ripen and became extremely mouldy, often invading the pulp inside. I ended up throwing almost of of them away because I couldn't find that correct point of ripe enough vs outer mould ending up as inner mould. The ones that didnt mould mostly were dried up inside. Very sad, because I'd had such good results previously.

Biggest passion fruit I’ve ever seen! I’ve eaten passion fruit all over the world and have never seen passion fruit this big. I was skeptical about the flavor considering how big they were. Surprisingly, they weren’t bad, more on the tart side, but typical passion fruit taste. The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars were some of them were dried up and empty on the inside.

Medium sized passionfruit, already on the journey to drying. Great flavor! Have has about 3 weeks now and fruit has held up. I expect another couple of weeks of use. Makes my breakfast a little tastier.
