Great brace
I use this as preventative support for my knee so it doesn't get sore when I play golf. It provides good support and flexibility. I just purchased a large instead of X-large because after the X-large lost a little elasticity it would slide down a bit so I would have to keep tightening it. The Large is a little snug but I keep stretching it and bending the plastic hinge brace to make it more comfortable until it stretches a little more. I am pretty sure it will work out. I've been wearing this brace for years now.

Wished I purchased this sooner!
This brace is a little on the small side, my thigh measures at 24 inches so I went with the XL. It fits well through the knee, but is a little tight in the banding at the top and bottom. I received it today and wore it to a Zumba class tonight, it was amazing. The support is strong and I was able to move so much better. *History* I decided to purchase this knee brace as my patella dislocated 7 months ago. After an hour of wearing it, I hardly noticed it on, the fit felt better and it was very comfortable during my class. I'm really happy with this purchase!

Too small. Measurements or product is off.
Runs small. Measured for medium size. Measurements fell right in the middle of the ranges. Product was too small around the top and bottom end roll seams. Digging way into skin. Ordering next size up.

This is the best brace that we found for our son after his knee patella displacement injury playing basketball. Since his injury about 2 years ago, we have tried different knee braces as a prevention device for our son who is very active in basketball and baseball. This is no question the best brace we have tried. With other braces, his knee has been 'tweeked' from time to time. Since finding this brace a year ago, no patella tweeks or issues have reoccurred. Our son trusts this brace, and has long since regained his confidence to play full-speed in his sports. When adjusted properly (takes a few times), this brace is non-obstructive to the required range-of-motion to play full-speed.This brace is high-quality construction and lasts very well. In our experience, the average life with heavy (daily, sweaty) use is about 3-4 months before the velcro attachments become weak. Under this condition, the velcro attachments can be reinforced with athletic tape to extend the life of the brace. Other braces we have tried only provided about 1 month of useful life with heavy use. After a year of using this brace exclusively, we are going on our 3rd brace. However, it is the best solution we have found as a relatively cheap 'insurance' policy to prevent another patella displacement injury during active sports. Highly recommended.

Great price, Comfortable
This is my second time buying this exact, same knee brace. The first one was purchased at a medical office 10+ years ago. It was double the price at the medical office, not covered by insurance. They measured my leg, which I was able to do myself and select the correct size from the chart. I have no ACL, which makes my knee unstable. I use this brace for skiing. It fits well and is comfortable. However, the brace does not take the place of exercising to keep the supporting muscle strong.

Great brace for patella dislocation.
Had surgery to "fix" my patella dislocation problem and 1 month after being released to return to sports the patella gave out while making a cut in running lines. Had on a compression/cheaper knee brace and my volleyball knee pads when this occurred. The doctor had said the knee pads would likely be enough support and did not recommend a brace. ($4,000 after insurance down the drain) He was wrong!Went in again to get the knee drained and had to sit out 2 weeks before being somewhat ready to return. Bought this brace in the meantime and now use it in conjunction with the McConnell Taping procedure. The combo of both of these methods work great! Basketball season has started had I bought another brace foe the opposite leg as a precaution. It was also recommended I do this by the Dr. who drained my leg after the initial failed surgery. Both braces hold up well and don't slide around even without the knee pads. I highly recommend them for a lateral patella dislocation problem!I'm a aggressive athlete who races motorcycles, snowboards, wake boards, high jumps, pole-vaults, long jumps, triple jumps and plays volleyball and basketball. I am not kind to my knees... and these work. (Suggest using Leukotape, and a base tape, not linen tape, with the McConnell taping.)

Great support... HORRIBLE sizing
Cons: Measuring my leg I should've been able to fit a medium per the sizing chart but I bought a large. The Large was still extremely tight, leaving indentions in my leg when taking it off. My knee and leg felt more sore after using it than before. The metal rubbed the sides of my knee and the the brace left bruising.Pro: provided great support.
