Fresh Lychees (5lb)

I grew to love these when living in Hawaii. Have only seen them in my local store once in 10 years. Thrilled to order but half were rotten and molded. Far too expensive for that.

I’ve ordered 3 batches of these and every time they’ve arrived during the hottest days of summer fresh and wonderful!! I’m a lychee snob once living where they grew and these are very good - huge -‘juicy- and sweet!!

Not only did I get 5 lb of green lychee, two days after I order them they are down to $50. If you raise lychee you know they don’t ripen after they’re picked. Such a cup of sadness. My mouth tastes like I just chewed a banana peel.

These lychees were very sweet, very clean with no stems. I totally enjoyed them and will purchase more.

though an attempt was made to keep the lychees cool by making holes in the packaging, I think they got really hot in transit. They were green, very soft and definitely did not have any sweetness, in fact I had to throw them all out. Lesson learned : buy lychees fresh, not online, they are too perishable.
