Came broken
There was no packing material in the box it was packaged in, and as a result, one of the terminal nuts was broken. See image. Otherwise, it appears to be as I expected it.

Not sure what to do w it.
It's made well but there are no instructions or suggested use. I used it to create a magnetetic field for a class.

The two pack I ordered! Neither of the magnets are not magnetized.
I ordered the two pack! Neither one of the 111mm by 12mm magnetic rods are magnetized! No instructions came with this. I took the rod out of both and there is no magnatzation in either one of these kits???

As described.
The silly reviews don't understand what this exactly I think that is the confusion. No it is not a magnetic core, the description doesn't say that either. It's simply a metal core. The small coil inside measures about 2.5ohms, the larger outside one measures about 40ohms. I stuck a small oscillator on the inner coil and the outer coil had voltage. It is a transformer. That's how transformers work. I bought 2. They are great demonstration units for showing how transformers work. You can add or remove the center rod and see the effects of doing so. You can also remove the center coil and see how that effects the magnetic fields. By itself it doesn't do anything. With a little knowledge you can make it do something. Some of the reviews have crazy expectations for a coil demonstration unit.

Induction spindles
This has no instructions as to voltage applied can it hold 110 volts or less,The center rod is just a metal piece means no magnet for the science projects.Requires instructions other parts like led bulbs, extra wires, magnets the cylindrical rod supposed to be a Magnet to complete other projects on science

Nice affordable visual teaching tool
Thank you for making thei teaching tool, which helps visualize electro Magnetic incuction, transformer action, explain related motor action, magnetic lines of force, induction, electro magnets, AC/DC and more. It would be helpful to know the number of windings in the primary and secondary windings.
